I had interesting feedback this morning on how clients may hesitate before making an appointment and perhaps some of their views on it.
It was explained that they may be shy, embarrassed, or uncomfortable with mentioning they sought out a spiritual avenue.
They are sometimes aware there will be unfavorable opinions.
I can fully relate. I as many lightworkers, spiritual practitioners, and mediums to mention just a few have also kept quiet for the same reasons. Myself included. All of these efforts are a “coming out” of sorts. It is with deep gratitude and awe that I had the opportunity to watch others go before me. They are now my role models. The people who had the courage to change their lives midstream to pursue their dreams. They moved away from their “comfort zone”
This in the way of spiritual practices gave way to an unveiling and the dispelling of fears such as the afterlife. Mediums are sharing stories that are more love, reconnection, and healing than fears. Many practices are more recognized than ever before. Mindfulness and meditation are no longer practices that were often in a mysterious category.
To honor this path and those who have gone before me I spent 2 years in developing a unique spread that deviates from a lot of traditional ways to read tarot named “The Tarot Wheel of Life”
The tarot in itself is the story of all life’s experiences in its 78 cards. So, why not use it for which it has been created.
This design was actually to take away from the “fortune teller” aspect. Cards a wonderful tool that can be used in delivering divine messages from the “reader” to the “seeker”
My intention was to shed light where there was fear. Many are afraid and have had unsolicited spiritual advice or fortunes. Which is rather unfortunate. It has been very daunting to try to settle the nerves of a client who has had a fearful experience. While I do believe you get what you bring to the table. There is a certain responsibility that of the reader to do no harm. This is to be taken seriously and with compassion.
The Tarot Wheel of Life is a tangible exercise that the “seeker is in charge of. Keeping in mind we are all of free will. It offers new insights, perspectives, and choices. This offers you knowledge and empowerment of your free will.
It is a wheel that is intended to honor the truth in you. The present of you in you and through you. Not a reading that there is a crack in your grandmother’s teacup
It is a reading that speaks from you to you. I am messenger and facilitator.
It offers you guidance and maybe some clarity.
Every person is unique as is every reading as it echoes back to you.
Your wonder and your gifts and your connection to the divine in you.
Yes, I have been accused of being too “fluffy”, “airheaded”, or “bubbly” I am sure there are more. And after all that you know what? It is okay. I believe that life, when we can, should be celebrated, With love and joy in our hearts. We can love more, respect more, and delight more often. Be present. Breathe.
There are many many times that we have fear, complexities, and self-doubt to name a few.
I believe the gift is to honor your spirit even if it just for a while.
