This was my idea for the a new blog post. Normally I set the intention and let ideas float and write them down until I am satisfied to start really writing. Then I did a reading for someone and missed something. Yup, that’s right I sure did. She sent a message the next day with the update of the turn of events. My immediate thought on the day she made the appointment I sensed a big change but I left that aside, telling my self that, that was my opinion, not a message. We had a wonderful reading and much was revealed but I missed something. After beating myself up for 24 hours by replaying every card over and over in my mind. Like everyone else, you need to let go, focus and sit with it as I say. Then, there it was, like right there! So, now that it was discovered, would it have changed any course of events? In this instance no. Sometimes you can not alter the course it needs to go as planned. Everyone has free will. Were all the other aspects of the reading well guided? YES! Was insight shared and did she gain clarity in other aspects of the read? YES! Did she throw smack at me and pitch a fit? No. Did I send her email the next day with what was more clear upon reflection? I sure did. Truth is sometimes we as readers or any other intuitives, psychics, mediums among others need to be responsible for how we deliver information. We need to be honest about what we see but careful. Occasionally, we may miss something too! Heaven forbid! What I believe is a good reading is one that you can take away much information. Not just one thing. The insight that you can hold on to for days even months. Messages delivered in reads can also unfold and unfold as time goes on like a flower in bloom. Ya gotta sit with it, let go, hold space for it and it will do that. I like to write while you are here for a reading and then I send you home with it, bad spelling to boot. If you need to refresh it is there for you at your fingertips. You also need to connect with whom you choose and the type of reading that resonates with you. If you see a doctor and from the moment you arrive you think he is a quack you may as well leave and find another immediately. No one can penetrate that now. This too alters how you pick cards which is really important than even trickier for the reader as they have a mixed bag of what energy you put in there. Then for sure, you will be disappointed like you would be with the quack doctor. A great thing to remember is that you may not necessarily hear what you want to hear. Oh my, can that be? YES! This is guidance, work with spirit and your highest forms of self so ya maybe you will get some of that instead sheeze don’t shoot the messenger you sat at the table haha!Expectations can be a dangerous thing here. It is a way of guidance and clarity not enabling. Trust and free-flowing energy make for a clearer reading. Let your gifts and your spirit guides speak with you and light your path to wisdom and new knowledge. For the spiritual practitioners out there trust in you as well. Keep your faith and love in your heart. The unity is that we all are sharing this human experience to love and grow.
Last but not least, the final message I received from my client was “You are my angel” So, all is as it should be.
