Animals are sensitive creatures. They have a language all their own and communicate within their own species. They also communicate with other species. They communicate psychically with other species as well. Since they have no mental clutter and survive on instinct I believe this gives them a knowledge of their own as well. They sense other vibrations and frequencies that we are less sensitive to.
The picture you see is of our household gift. His name is Spyder and he is now 11 years old. He was a gift to our new home when our world seemed to be falling apart. A creature of the song to brighten our new home. I have come to call him a very dedicated business assistant. A very reliable frequency detector. If I am doing a reading or if there is any certain type of discord around the home he alerts us right away with a very distinct and unique chirp. It also can be very frustrating to hear after a period of time. It does work a lot of the time. He alerts us to pause and to be mindful of the energy shift so that we can be aware and have the opportunity to adjust. We are very blessed and grateful to have him. Lately, he became very ill and my attentions have been diverted away from being a happy blogger about the recent eclipse and retrograde all in motion now. He has had many visitors and supporters I even debated creating his own Instagram account. He also has had one very dedicated angel who had devoted so much time to him and he is alive now because of her extreme care. I tell ya for a bird he has it good!
So what do birds mean as a spiritual meaning? Well, they represent higher perspectives as in seeing things above what may really be there. Birds show us a way of detachment in order that we may see things from outside the issue. They elevate consciousness. They guide the quest for higher knowledge, learning, and wisdom. Bird spirit guides are close to the Divine.
Feathers carry messages from here to heaven. Finding feathers are also messages. We use feather wands in smudging. Birds can break out of the cage and live free close to the heavens. (whatever you choose to call the upper worlds) Do you notice birds? Does this speak to you? Do you feel connected to receiving messages from the heavens or you praying to them?

You will find many delays, upsets, and frustrations during this time. It is very complex however, I am keeping it very simple for now. My best advice for this particular retrograde in Leo would be to just check details and then recheck them. Save and back up computer files. Be patient with scheduling things. Watch your temper and how you respond to people, meaning go inward first. Since it is a time of miscommunication do not be shy to ask for clarity before you type that email, send that text or start a debate. It is a great time for personal reflection and defining what is ego and which part is your higher self.
